Depew woman charged in marijuana arrest
NORTH TONAWANDA — A Depew woman was arrested Wednesday morning after police allegedly found marijuana in her car during a traffic stop on Webster Street.
Shiela L. Hunt, also known as Shiela Joy, 45, of Slate Bottom Drive, faces numerous charges, including two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Hunt, who police said also had pills in her purse, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and talking on her cell phone while driving.
She was arraigned in North Tonawanda City Court on Wednesday afternoon.
