The Town Board will meet for a work session at 5:30 p. m. Monday in Town Hall, 1375 Ridge Road.
Lockport
The town Planning Board will meet at 3 p. m. Tuesday in Town Hall, 6560 Dysinger Road. Topics include a bottle redemption center and a retail storage business in Wrights Corners and a communications tower for Rapids Fire Company and Lockport Community Television on Plank Road.
Town of Niagara
The Town Board will hold a special meeting to discuss a report on Cayuga Creek at 6:30 p. m. Tuesday in Town Hall, 7105 Lockport Road. Also this week:
• The Town Board will hold a work session at 7 p. m. Thursday in Town Hall.
Niagara County
The County Legislature Community Safety and Security Committee will meet at 5 p. m. Monday in the Warren
J. Rathke Public Safety Training Center, 5574 Niagara St. Extension, Lockport. The committee is to debate paying Undersheriff Samuel J. Muscarella an extra $5,000 for having served as acting sheriff for the final five months of 2008. Also this week:
• The County Legislature Community Services Committee will meet at 5:30 p. m. Monday in the Rathke Building.
• The County Legislature Administration Committee will meet at 6 p. m. Monday in the Rathke Building.
• The Industrial Development Agency will hold a public hearing on a proposed property tax break for Sunlight Solutions of Wheatfield at 4:30 p. m. Tuesday in the IDA offices, 6311 Inducon Corporate Drive, Wheatfield.
• The IDA will hold a public hearing, on a proposed tax break for a new hotel on Rainbow Boulevard, planned by SAI Lodging, at 4 p. m. Thursday in Niagara Falls City Hall, 745 Main St.
