Parade organizers seek gifts for soup kitchens

TOWN OF NIAGARA—Organizers of the annual Niagara Electric Lights Parade are asking those who attend to bring non-perishable food items or toys to donate for local soup kitchens.

The parade will begin at 5:30 p. m. Saturday at Military Road and Fourth Avenue and will end at the Military Road Kmart store. Donations will benefit soup kitchens run by Community Missions and Heart, Love and Soul.

The parade is organized by the Town of Niagara, the Town of Niagara Business and Professional Association, the Niagara USA Chamber, HSBC and the United Way of Niagara.

Visit www.tnbpa.com for an entrance application to take part in the parade.
