DWI charges bring pleas of not guilty, guilty
LOCKPORT—One man pleaded guilty and another not guilty in separate driving while intoxicated cases Tuesday before Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza.
Richard Brady Jr., 37, of Cain Road, Porter, admitted to a misdemeanor DWI charge stemming from his March 25 arrest in Wilson. Sperrazza set sentencing for Sept. 8.
“There was no crash. He wasn’t falling down drunk,” Deputy District Attorney Theodore A. Brenner said in explaining the plea offer.
Meanwhile, Howard J. Jordan, 40, of Spring Street, Niagara Falls, pleaded not guilty to felony DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and prohibited parking. He was arrested March 22 in Niagara Falls.
