Onesi announces run for county legislator
NIAGARA FALLS—Mark A. Onesi, dean of academic affairs at ITT Technical Institute in Getzville, has announced his candidacy for Niagara County legislator in the 4th District.
Onesi, 57, a Republican, will face off against Legislator Dennis F. Virtuoso, the leader of the Democratic minority.
Onesi said he would fight for jobs and infrastructure improvements in Niagara Falls if he is elected.
He is a retired Army officer who spent 23 years on active duty as far away as South Korea.
