Dec. 29
• Frank Dangelo, 55, of Caledonia Street, Lockport, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. A Lockport police report said Dangelo was seen leaving “a known drug house” on Green Street, and was found to have two bags marijuana in each of his two front shirt pockets.
• Amy E. Devine, 30, of Dunedin, Fla., was arrested by Lockport police, who charged her with making a false sworn statement in connection with a South Transit Street burglary.
• A vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and back again several times shortly before 3 a. m. on Niagara Falls Boulevard north of Nash Road in Wheatfield, according to sheriff’s deputies. The driver, Vasiliy Kondratyuk, 42, of Pine Street, North Tonawanda, was stopped and found with an open bottle of vodka, deputies said. After being found with a blood-alcohol level of 0.22 percent, he was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, as well as driving while intoxicated, driving with alcohol in a motor vehicle and moving from a lane unsafely, deputies said.

a. m., sheriff’s deputies said. Deputies said Middleport police stopped Christopher P. Clute, 30, of Gwinn Street, Medina, who was found with muddy pants and shoes. Clute said he and a friend were trying to steal aluminum from the salvage yard and fled when they heard a dog bark, deputies reported. Clute was charged with petit larceny and trespassing.
Dec. 30
• State police responded to European Meat Products & Deli on Ridge Road in the Town of Hartland for a report of criminal mischief. A window was damaged on the business, causing $200 damage.
Jan. 1
• A Fourth Street woman told Niagara Falls police that someone stole $200 worth of jewelry from her home. A rear door was forced open to gain entry.
Jan. 2
• A 19th Street man dropped his wallet while walking near his home on New Year’s Eve and had it retrieved by an unknown person, Niagara Falls police were told. The victim later learned that a debit card had been taken from the wallet and had been used to make an unauthorized $174 withdrawal from the man’s account.
• An 80th Street woman reported to Niagara Falls police that a debit card was stolen from her home and used to make an unauthorized withdrawal of $140 from her bank account. Police were checking into whether the victim’s daughter may have been involved in the crime.
Jan. 3
• A felony driving while intoxicated charge was lodged against a 12th Street man at 7:05 p. m., Niagara Falls police reported. Robert L. Johnson, 64, was stopped following a hit-and-run crash in the 500 block of Memorial Parkway. Police said he struck a parked car and then left the scene. He was additionally charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
Jan. 4
• Marcus P. London, 37, was arrested at 3:15 a. m. at 22nd Street and Mackenna Avenue, Niagara Falls police reported. The 71st Street resident was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI for allegedly having a blood-alcohol level of 0.20 percent. He also was charged with not wearing a seat belt and driving with his headlights off.
• A Falls Street man told Niagara Falls police that sometime overnight someone broke a kitchen window and stole a $2,500 plasma television/DVD and a computer.
Jan. 5
• Following an accident in the parking lot of a McDonald’s in the 8300 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, where he allegedly hit a garbage can, Thomas D. Fago, 26, of Sisson Drive, North Tonawanda, was charged by Niagara Falls police at 3:49 a. m. with reckless driving, operating under the influence of drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no seat belt. Police said Fago was in and out of consciousness and told officers he had taken Xanax because he was upset. Two dogs in the car were removed by the SPCA. • The owner of My Place Tavern, Roy
G. Wark, 61, of 24th Street, was charged by Niagara Falls police with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving after being stopped at 5:10 p. m. at 10th and Niagara streets. Police said he was seen swerving numerous times on Niagara Street and then stopped abruptly. Wark said he owned the bar and admitted he had been drinking for the past four hours. Police said he was unable to stand without assistance.
Jan. 6
• A 73-year-old Portage Road woman told Niagara Falls police she was leaving the parking lot of Fashion King on Portage Road just after noon when man in his 20s walked up and grabbed her purse. The woman said there was no cash, but the purse contained her keys and a benefit card.
