No, they’re not looking for the best singers or great dancers, but local resident Steve Smith and other members of the Buffalo Astronomical Association will set up their telescopes for some supreme views of the stars, planets, galaxies and more, dusk, Kreuger Park, Ontario Street, Wilson. The event is free but held weather permitting. Bring a lawn chair.

Fear not, the North Tonawanda History Museum’s annual Haunted Gardens on the EEEErie Canal is looking to scare and entertain boys and “ghouls” of all ages with historical ghost stories, a Spooky Stroll, a haunted hayride and haunted greenhouse, 7 to 10
