American Cancer Society seeks volunteer drivers
LOCKPORT — The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteer drivers to take cancer patients from Niagara County to treatment facilities in Buffalo and elsewhere in the region.
The “Road to Recovery” program is especially short of drivers in the Lockport area, according to Elaine Duquette, director of communications and marketing for the American Cancer Society, Western New York region.
The program is free to patients. Those interested in driving should call the Cancer Society at 689-6982.
