History Museum holds used book sale today
NORTH TONAWANDA — The North Tonawanda History Museum will hold its second used book sale of the summer between 9 a. m. and 3 p. m. today in front of the Gersh Experience, 621 Payne Ave.
Paperbacks and hardcover books will be available, including the popular “bag of books for $5” — where customers purchase a bag at the registration desk for $5 and then fill it with as many books as the bag can hold. Most paperbacks are going for 50 cents each or 3 for $1. Hard covers are $1 each or 3 for $2. Proceeds will be used for general operating costs of the museum.
Tickets will be available at the book sale for “Dancing Under the Stars,” to be held Sept. 26 at 54-60 Webster St. Tickets are $15 each or $25 per couple.
