Meetings set on search for new superintendent
MIDDLEPORT — Royalton-Hartland School District residents and employees are invited to meetings at 7 p. m. Thursday and 10 a. m. Saturday to provide the district’s search consultant ideas on what to look for in a new school superintendent.
The sessions, to be held in the Royalton- Hartland High School auditorium, are set to see what type of qualities the community wants in a new superintendent. Superintendent Paul J. Bona plans to retire June 30 after serving for 10 years.
Orleans-Niagara Board of Cooperative Educational Services Superintendent Clark Godshall is the district’s search consultant for a new chief educational administrator. He said he is seeking input from the community “into the development of search priorities and characteristics for consideration in the process to replace Bona.”
