Rainbow Bridge walkway to be closed for 2 weeks
NIAGARA FALLS — The Rainbow Bridge’s pedestrian walkway will be closed for about two weeks starting Monday in order to make repairs on the Canadian side of the crossing.
Pedestrian access will be closed from 7 a. m. Monday until 3 p. m. Sept. 12.
The walkway will close again at 7 a. m. Sept. 15, with a scheduled reopening of 3 p. m. Sept. 19.
It could reopen sooner than 3 p. m. Sept. 19 if work is completed ahead of schedule, according to the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission.
