Woman’s house, car riddled with bullets
NIAGARA FALLS — A Niagara Street woman found bullet holes in her car, house — and even her couch — when she awoke Thursday morning.
Niagara Falls police are investigating a call in the 1800 block of Niagara Street after a woman found 13 bullet holes, including two in a couch where she said she had been sitting on Wednesday evening.
She told police there were four or five young men fighting in front of her house at about 8:30 p. m. Wednesday and she told them to leave.
She said she heard about a dozen shots, but thought the sound was fireworks.
Two bullet holes were found in the woman’s car door, eight on the side of her house, three in the window of her house, and two were embedded in the couch where the woman told police she had been sitting when she heard the shots.
