DWI, other charges lodged against Newfane driver

LOCKPORT — A Newfane man faces a long list of charges after he allegedly hit another vehicle Monday afternoon and nearly was hit by a patrol car. Police said there were no injuries.
Louis J. Scinta, 45, of Brown Road, was arrested at Beattie and Lincoln avenues and charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, speeding, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to stop at a stop sign, following too closely and having an open alcoholic beverage.
