Fraud suspected in loss from debit account
BARKER — Nearly $4,000 worth of fraudulent charges were made on the debit account of a Lake Road woman, police learned Friday.
The victim told sheriff’s deputies she was contacted after numerous purchases were made on her debit card at different cities in Arizona. The card was used at Wal-Mart stores in Tucson and Marana, deputies said, and additional charges were still pending from other locations.
