Falls man, 24, stabbed; suspect, 21, arrested
NIAGARA FALLS — A Niagara Falls man was taken to the Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, late Saturday after he was stabbed in the chest with a pocket knife during an altercation, police said.
Michael P. Raymond, 24, of Buffalo Avenue, was walking with his girlfriend in the 200 block of 77th Street shortly after 9:30 p. m. when an argument erupted with another couple, police said. During the incident, Raymond was stabbed once in the left side of the chest.
Police arrested Jeremy B. Harvey, 21, of 74th Street, at the scene, charging him with first-degree assault. No further information was available Sunday.
