Man armed with a knife confronts Falls woman
NIAGARA FALLS — Police are investigating the invasion of a Whitney Avenue home at about 7:15 a. m. Saturday.
A woman was awakened by a man who broke into her house and entered her bedroom armed with a knife, police said. The woman barricaded herself inside a bathroom until the intruder, who wore a bandanna over his face, left, police added.
Police also are investigating several burglaries and thefts: video game components, a DVD player and about 40 DVDs from a Walnut Avenue home Friday night; and diabetic medications, a garage door opener and about $60 in cash from a Mackenna Avenue home early Friday.
