Knock on door leads to stabbing in Falls
NIAGARA FALLS — A 33-year-old man told police he was stabbed Sunday morning after answering the door of a Ninth Street home.
The man, who had spent the night there, answered a knock on the door just after 9 a. m. When he opened it, a man he didn’t know poked him with a sharp object, then fled.
Police said the victim’s injuries were not serious. He was treated in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
