LOCKPORT
Trolley tour service for visitors starts
LOCKPORT — The Tour Lockport Trolley, a “hop-on, hop-off” transportation service aimed primarily at tourists, has begun operating for the summer season, the History Center of Niagara announced.
The trolley charges $2 for a day’s service, with tickets available at the Erie Canal Discovery Center, Church and Ontario streets. Besides the city tour, the trolley also can be used as part of the Lockport Passport, which costs $24 for adults and $18 for children, and includes admission at the city’s leading tourism spots — the Discovery Center, Lockport Locks and Erie Canal Cruises and the Lockport Cave and Underground Boat Ride.
The trolley will operate daily from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. during July and August.
