Following is a weekly listing of upcoming events of area faith groups held around Niagara County.
Today
STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL: noon to 4 p. m., St. John’s Episcopal Church, Main and Chestnut streets, Niagara Falls. Festival will feature food and a basket auction. Historic church tours will be held at 1 p. m.
CHICKEN BARBECUE: Noon until sold out, Olcott United Methodist Church, 5956 Main St. Price is $7.50 for presale, $8 for adults, $4 for children 10 years or under and $4 for a half chicken. Takeout available; rain or shine.
Friday
THE ROCK: Youths and young adults ages 13 to 24 can check out The Rock for an evening of fun, contemporary music and ministry, 7 p. m., Wheatfield Community Church, The Summit mall, 6929 Williams Road.
Saturday
WELLNESS: 9:30 to 11:30 a. m., fitness and wellness program for adults over 60. The program is offered in partnership with the Health Association of Niagara County Inc. Christ Redemption Tabernacle Church, 2002 Forest Ave., Niagara Falls, For more information, call 282-5152.
