Workshop to be held on improving public facilities

NIAGARA FALLS — The Niagara Arts and Cultural Center will host an all-day workshop Tuesday on maintaining and improving public facilities, adopting “green” building practices and meeting state building code requirements for 2008.
The conference is designed to provide information to nonprofit organizations and staff. The workshop will be of particular interest to grant writers and organizations involved in adaptive reuse or new construction.
The workshop will be held from 9 a. m. to 4 p. m. Tuesday. The cost is $20 for NACC members, $25 for nonmembers and $10 for students and seniors. Registration forms are available at www.carnegieartcenter.org .
