Depew student collecting lip balm for troops serving overseas

Cassie Miller, a 10th-grader at Depew High School, is collecting new and sealed lip balm for military personnel serving overseas.

She would like the lip balm in patriotic red/white/blue containers for the collection, which runs through Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

Donations can be dropped off at the Army and Navy Recruiting stations, 1550 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga; Coast Guard Recruiting Station, 1526 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga; Marine/Army Recruiting Station, 1044 Union Road, West Seneca; Air Force, Navy/Marine/Army Recruiting Station, 6050 South Park Ave., Hamburg.

Also Lancaster Presbyterian Church, 5461 Broadway, Lancaster; Cayuga Heights Elementary School, 1780 Como Park Blvd., Depew; Tops D&L Plaza, Broadway, Depew; Depew Village Hall, Gould and Manitou avenues.

And at the offices of State Sen. Dale Volker, 4729 Transit Road, Depew; and Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak, 2560 Walden Ave., Depew.

On Halloween only, donations can be dropped off at 61 Olmstead Ave., Depew.
