2 from Cheektowaga held in vending device theft
Two Cheektowaga residents were charged this weekend in connection with a vending machine theft at the Full Service Laundry in Alden.
State police on Friday issued a news release about the incident, in which the suspects caused $3,000 damage to the vending machine and took $100 in coins on Aug. 16. Troopers also released a photograph of the suspects to the media.
Saturday, troopers got a call from off-duty Cheektowaga officers identifying the suspects. Donald J. Lukowski Jr., 39, and Katie L. McDonnell, 27, were charged with criminal mischief and petit larceny.
