Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan made his first visit to Buffalo on Sunday since being named leader of the Catholic Archdiocese of New York.
Dolan, installed in April to succeed Cardinal Edward Egan as the 10th archbishop of New York, was among the 2009 Cure of Ars dinner honorees at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo.
He also presided at a 4 p. m. vespers prayer service, along with Bishop Edward U. Kmiec, Auxiliary Bishop Edward M. Grosz and Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus Bernard J. McLaughlin.
