The Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service for area blind and print-handicapped listeners located at 1199 Harlem Road, Cheektowaga, will host its 10th annual Silent Super Auction fundraiser from 1:30 to 5 p. m. on Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Hearthstone Manor, 333 Dick Road, Depew. Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Parent and Sibling Group will host State Sen. George Maziarz, who will provide updates on issues that effect families of individuals with disabilities, from 6 to 7 p. m. The Senior Day Program at Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled offers individuals who are self-sufficient, age 55 or older with developmental disabilities, the opportunity to get involved with a senior center to meet new people, learn new skills and volunteer in the community.
