Honor Roll
Recognizing the accomplishments of Western New Yorkers
Marine Cpl. Lisa M. Bodenburg, a 2005 honors graduate of Kenmore East High School, is serving in Iraq as the only female crew chief with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367.
Bodenburg, who joined the Marines as soon as she turned 18, excelled in boot camp and graduated as her platoon’s honor graduate, earning a meritorious promotion to private first class. She recently earned her combat air crew wings, allowing her to serve as mission crew chief without having a training crew chief on board.
