Program for at-risk kids to get Wal-Mart funding

The Young Achievers Program of St. Philip’s Community Center has been awarded a $25,000 grant by the Wal- Mart Foundation.
The program, for children ages 5-13, is designed to address problems of at-risk children, including poor academic achievement, learning disabilities and behavioral problems.
