Parent Network and EPIC will offer free “Parenting Today” workshops, “Surviving the Stress of the Holiday Season,” from 6 to 8 p. m. Tuesday and “Making Ends Meet,” from 10 a. m. to noon Thursday in the Wilson National Center for Parenting and Character Education, 1000 Main St. To register, or for more information, call 332-4170 or visit www.parentnetworkwny.org or www.epicforchildren.org . ••• The Individual Services Environment program at Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities who have moved out on their own. Western New York Independent Living offers a free social hour, including games of backgammon, Scrabble, chess and cards from 1 to 4 p. m. Friday in the back Conference Room of the WNY Independent Living Project, 3108 Main St. Light refreshments served. For information, call 836-0822, Ext. 170.

CHC Learning Center, 80 Lawrence Bell Drive, Suite 115, Amherst, provides educational and therapeutic programming for preschool and school-age children (infant to 21 years of age). Classes are small and structured to meet the individual needs of students with multiple disabilities. Certified special- education teachers and educational aides staff each classroom. Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara provides individuals with disabilities of all ages support services, skills necessary to achieve independence, in-home services, volunteer opportunities and geriatric assessments. Action for Mental Health, 1585 Kenmore Ave., provides services to consumers with mental health issues throughout Erie County. The programs are designed to assist consumers in the areas of self-help, advocacy and civic empowerment education. For information, call 871-0581.
