Robbery victim resists assailant, is stabbed
A man stabbed in the city’s Kensington- Bailey area was listed in stable condition Sunday afternoon in Erie County Medical Center.
Jonathan Thomas, of Millicent Avenue, said another man opened his car door near the corner of Davidson Avenue and Orleans Street just before 6 p. m. Saturday, police reported.
The assailant demanded keys and jewelry. When Thomas said no and swung at the attacker, the assailant pulled out a knife and began stabbing him, according to a police report.
The victim was stabbed in the chest and the left buttock. He also was cut on his left forearm.
Police did not release the victim’s age.
