SISTER CITIES
Several celebrations scheduled next month
Buffalo will celebrate its international Sister Cities with several events next month.
Mayor Byron W. Brown and the presidents of Buffalo’s Sister Cities organizations will be hosts to the 10th annual Sister Cities Dinner from 5:30 p. m. to 9 p. m. Nov. 13 in the Buffalo Yacht Club.
Also, the Hattie Harris Good Spirits Club International flag will be on display in the lobby of City Hall Nov. 6-14. In addition, there will be a celebration of International Thank-You Day on Nov. 7 in City Hall.
Buffalo’s Sister Cities include Kanazawa, Japan; Lille, France; Drohobych, Ukraine; Dortmund, Germany; Torremaggiore, Italy; Tver, Russia; and Rzeszow, Poland.
