Buffalo man faces drunken-driving charge
A Buffalo man was charged with driving while intoxicated after deputies pulled over a vehicle that was weaving along a Grand Island road, Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reported this morning.
The traffic stop was made shortly before 8 p. m. Thursday on South State Parkway. Eliseo Davila, 46, was arrested after failing roadside sobriety tests, deputies said .
Davila refused to submit to a further test back at the substation, the sheriff said. He was released on appearance tickets, pending arraignment in Grand Island Town Court.
A passenger in the vehicle, Ramon Negron, 46, of Buffalo, was charged with possession of marijuana and also was released on an appearance ticket.
