Economics, Finance faculty plan panel discussion of crisis
Faculty from the Economics and Finance Department at Buffalo State College will discuss various aspect of the nation’s current economic crisis during a panel discussion from 12:15 to 1:30 p. m. today in Bulger Communication Center East.
Panelists include Joelle Leclaire, an assistant professor whose research interests include post-Keynesian economics, monetary and fiscal policy, and international finance; Theodore F. Byrley, a chartered financial analyst and past president of the Buffalo Society of Security Analysts; Kevin Qian, whose research interests include international finance, financial economics, and applied econometrics; and Bruce L. Fisher, former deputy county executive under Joel A. Giambra.
The discussion will be moderated by Ted Schmidt, chairman of the Economics and Finance Department.
Those who are planning to attend the panel discussion are being advised to park in Lot C of the Media Parking Lot south of Cleveland Hall.
