ERIE COUNTY
Bloch Rodwin is assured election to Family Court
Lisa Bloch Rodwin is expected to be certified today as winner of the cliffhanger primary election for Erie County Family Court, Democratic Election Commissioner Dennis E. Ward said today.
The certification means that Rodwin has won the vacant position, with victories on the Democratic and Republican lines, as well as on all three minor parties.
While her name will appear on the general election ballot on Nov. 4, she is assured of election.
She defeated Buffalo City Judge E. Jeannette Ogden, Family Court attorney Barbara S. Nuchereno, and attorney Michael
T. Feeley.
She was appointed to the Family
Court bench in April by Gov. David A. Paterson. The term is 10 years and pays $125,600 annually.
