Man stabbed several times in attack on Lafayette
A Buffalo man was stabbed several times early Tuesday during an attack on Lafayette Avenue, police reported.
Jaye J. Johnson, 46, suffered stab wounds to his chest and back, along with cuts to his nose and face. He was treated in Erie County Medical Center and released.
Northwest District police said the attack occurred in the 100 block of Lafayette, near Barton Street, just after 2 a. m.
The attacker was described as a Hispanic male, about 5-foot-8 and 135 pounds, with a missing front tooth, a tattoo on his left hand with the word “HOOD,” and another tattoo on his right hand with the word “TOO HOOD.”
