Fights send 3 people to medical center
Two fights overnight Saturday sent three people to Erie County Medical Center, one in critical condition, Buffalo police report.
Frank J. Aramini Jr., 33, of Buffalo, told police he was stabbed and several shots were fired at him, grazing him in the stomach, during a fight outside at bar at 1194 E. Lovejoy St.
Joseph Kroll, 43, of Castile, said he walked outside during the fight and was punched in the face and hit with a bottle. Both were taken to ECMC, where they were treated and released.
Gregory Rick, 38, of Buffalo, was assaulted during an argument with another man about 3:20 a. m. Sunday at Seneca Street and Kingston Place, near Cazenovia Park. Rick was punched twice in the face and struck his head on the sidewalk when he fell. The assailant then kicked Rick in the neck two or three times.
Rick remains in critical condition at ECMC. His assailant is described as a white male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, in his 20s, with a shaved head.
