Youth on bicycle hit by car on Lathrop Street
An early Monday afternoon collision between a car and a youth on a bicycle sent the youth to Women and Children’s Hospital for evaluation.
The incident occurred at about 1:20 p. m. at Broadway and Lathrop Street. The bicyclist was exiting a parking lot when he was struck by the vehicle, which was traveling south on Lathrop approaching a red light, Buffalo police reported.
Police said the driver asked the youth as many as four times whether he was hurt. The youth acknowledged each time that he was uninjured, but he later went to the hospital.
No charges were filed.
