Host families needed for ex-Soviet Bloc teens
A State Department program that brings high school students from the former Soviet Union to the United States is being launched in Western New York.
Edward Willett, a former Peace Corps official who lives in East Aurora, says he has been notified by the program, called FLEX, that four students from Eastern Europe and Central Asia are interested in spending a year in local high schools.
