Adult ADD/ADHD Support Group will meet from 7 to 9 p. m. Tuesday in the meeting room at Denny’s, 4610 Genesee St. For information, call 684-7142.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness in Buffalo and Erie County, an education and support organization for families of persons with mental illness, will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p. m. Thursday in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4007 Main St., Amherst. For information, call 832-4035.

Headway of Western New York Youth Support Group will meet from 6:30 to 8 p. m. Thursday at 976 Delaware Ave. For information, call 629-3636.

Western New York Independent Living Inc. will hold its annual Tuscarora Indian Nation Picnic and Field Days with an opening ceremony at 5 p. m. Friday and a 7: 30 a. m. breakfast on Saturday, followed by an 11 a. m. parade in the National Grove, at the corner of Walmore and Mount Hope roads. Festivities include Smoke Dance competition, lacrosse, a 10K race, beadwork competition, music, arts and crafts. For information, call 628-5424.

Also, Independent Living and the University at Buffalo are looking for individuals who need assistance when standing up or sitting down. The National Statler Center for Careers in Hospitality Service sponsors a Statler Training and Employment Program (STEP) for individuals with visual and physical disabilities.
