Amherst
The Sweet Home Central School District of Amherst and Tonawanda Board of Education will hold its reorganization meeting at 7 p. m. Tuesday. A regular voting meeting follows at 8
p. m.
Aurora
The East Aurora Board of Education Union Free School District will hold its annual reorganizational meeting at 7 p. m. Wednesday in the Main Street Building Library, 430 Main St.
Buffalo
The Joint Schools Construction Board will meet at 3 p. m. Monday in room 801 at City Hall. Also this week:
• The Common Council will hold its pre-meeting caucus at 2 p. m. Monday in Room 1417 of City Hall.
• The Common Council will meet in regular session at 2 p. m. Tuesday in Council Chambers on the 13th floor of City Hall.
•The Board of Education will hold a public hearing at 5 p. m. Tuesday in room 801 of City Hall to solicit comments on the WNY Maritime Charter School seeking a reduction in enrollment for the 2008-09 school year. • The Water Board will meet at 9 a. m. Wednesday in Room 502 of City Hall.
• The Preservation Board will meet at 3 p. m. Thursday in Room 901 of City Hall.
Clarence
The Clarence Town Board holds its regular meeting 7:30 a. m. Wednesday in Town Hall, One Town Place, Clarence, and is expected to receive a petition from residents opposed to the extension of Green Valley Drive to the proposed Spaulding Greens subdivision.
Erie County
The County Legislature will meet at 2 p. m. Thursday in the County Legislature chambers on the Fourth Floor of 92 Franklin St.
Lackawanna
The Planning and Development Board will meet at 5:15 p. m. Thursday in Council Chambers.
Lancaster
The Lancaster Town Board will meet at 8 p. m. Monday in Town Hall, 21 Central Ave. A work session will preceed the meeting at 7.
Newstead
The Newstead Town and Akron Village boards will meet in a joint session at 6 p. m. Monday in Village Hall, 5 Main St. Several items are on the agenda including the Benderson Corp’s plans for a plaza at Routes 5 and 93. At 7:30 p. m., the Village Board will hold a regular meeting while the Town Board will convene in Town Hall, 5 Clarence Center Road, for a work session.
North Collins
The Board of Education will hold its reorganizational meeting at 6:30 p. m. Wednesday in the Library-Media Center in the Junior-Senior High School Building, 2045 School St. A regular meeting takes place immediately following.
Springville
The Town of Concord Town Board will meet at 7 p. m. Thursday at 86 Franklin St., Springville.
City of Tonawanda
The School Board will hold a regular meeting at 6:30 p. m. Tuesday in Tonawanda High School, 150 Hinds St.
