West Side fire displaces 4; cause being sought
The Red Cross was assisting four people displaced after a fire caused more than $12,000 damage to their West Side home late Thursday, Buffalo fire officials said.
The blaze was reported at 11:05 p. m. at 245 Niagara St., between Carolina and Georgia streets. The fire started in the attic of the 2z-story frame building and caused $10,000 damage to the building and $2,500 damage to the contents.
The cause is under investigation. The Red Cross is assisting three adults and one child.
