4 youths face charges in graffiti incidents

Story tools:

Two young men and two boys were charged Tuesday with spraying graffiti at three locations on South Park Avenue — South Buffalo Charter School, a city-owned basketball court, and a storage and warehouse facility.

Darnell R. Frazier, 17, of Troupe Street, and Anthony M. Simpson, 18, of South Park Avenue, were each charged with possession of graffiti instruments, making graffiti and criminal mischief. Two alleged accomplices also were charged but they cannot be identified because they are juveniles.

South District police said graffiti was spray-painted on the rear of South Buffalo Charter School, 2219 South Park Ave., at about 1 a. m. Tuesday; on the basketball court in Okell Park; and a large garage door at 2230 South Park, which city records show is a storage and warehouse facility owned by Consumer Beverages.

Police said they were marked with “a crown with the initials B. B. inside the names Junior Big D and Mr. Mikey in large black letters.”
