Weiss defeated in all three Clarence Town Board primaries

Clarence Councilman Joseph Weiss apparently made too many enemies this year.
According to unofficial and incomplete results, Weiss was defeated in all three Town Board primaries he was in today, losing to fellow incumbent Bernard Kolber on the Republican, Conservative and Independence lines. He also finished behind Robert Geiger on the Republican and Conservative lines.
With 86 percent of the ballots counted, Weiss was too far behind in all three races to make up enough ground on his rivals.
Weiss spoke out against the current town administration and has pushed to control spending on the town's fire companies, which has made him the target of the town's volunteer firefighters.
