An Alden man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated Thursday night after a breath test indicated his blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent, state police said.

Derek R. Delzer, 25, was pulled over at about 8:35 p. m. on Crittendon Road in the Town of Alden after a trooper said he saw him failing to keep right and moving from his lane unsafely.

Delzer allegedly failed several sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was charged with aggravated DWI because his BAC was higher than 0.18 percent.

He was issued a ticket and is slated to return to Town of Alden Court on Sept. 15.
