WORKSHOP: The Cattaraugus County Arts Council will honor the history and contributions of African Americans during February, Black History Month, with the presentation of “Follow the Drinking Gourd: The Underground Railroad Project,” with Sara Heslin Woods, from 6 to 8 p. m. this Thursday, Feb. 18 and 25 at the Olean Campus of Jamestown Community College, College Center, Room 220, North Union Street. Participants will create their own drinking gourd that will be individually embellished with paint and other decorative treatments. The workshop is appropriate for ages 12 and up.
