Joe Basil workers give GM winnings to charity

The employees of Joe Basil Chevrolet have decided to contribute their $5,000 winnings from a General Motors sales contest to three charities. The dealership added $1,000 so that $2,000 can be given to each charity.
The charities, each of which has assisted families of Joe Basil Chevrolet during the past year, are the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester; Gotta Kiss Cancer Goodbye, a new foundation formed by leukemia survivor Kathleen Hogan of Ellicottville; and Bornhava Specialized Early Childhood Center of Amherst.
