SPEAKER: The Rotary Club of Amherst will host Kevin Gaughan as guest speaker of the luncheon meeting at noon today in the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center, 2402 North Forest Road, Amherst. For more information, call 639-0122.

OPEN HOUSE: Aurora Waldorf School will hold a free lecture and open house from noon to 2:30 p. m. Saturday, at 525 West Falls Road, West Falls. CLINIC: The VA Western New York Healthcare System is holding a swine flu vaccine clinic for veterans enrolled in VA Health Care from 8 a. m. to 2 p. m. Saturday in the facility, 3495 Bailey Ave. The vaccine will be available at Desk 4, located on the first floor. There is no charge for the vaccine for veterans enrolled in VA Health Care. HEALTHY HEART: Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and the Heart Center of Niagara will hold a Healthy Heart Summit from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. Saturday, in the Summit Fitness Center, 6930 Williams Road, Town of Wheatfield. The free program will include presentations by cardiologists, healthy cooking demonstrations, a CPR demonstration, displays and cardiac testing. The program also includes refreshments, door prizes and basket raffles.

SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE: St. John the Baptist School is hosting an open house to showcase the culture and history of other countries being studied by students in prekindergarten through eighth grades, from noon to 2 p. m. Sunday in the school, 1085 Englewood Ave., Town of Tonawanda.

MEETING: The South Line Fire District No. 10 of Cheektowaga will hold its regular meeting at 7 p. m. Monday in the boardroom at the firehouse, 1049 French Road. The meeting is open to the public. For more information, call 668-1232.
