BATAVIA—Twenty-eight city, county and town officials were sworn in Tuesday during a ceremony in the Genesee County Court Facility.

Included were longtime county officials— Clerk Don M. Read and District Attorney Lawrence Friedman. Eight county legislators, all incumbents, also took the oath of office from County Judge Robert C. Noonan and Family Court Judge Erie R. Adams.

New on the job are Robert J. Radley, a county legislator representing city Wards 1 and 6, and Marianne Clattenburg, Ward 2, who won an at-large post on the Council.

Also sworn in were Town of Batavia Supervisor Gregory H. Post and board members and justices from the towns of Alabama, Elba, Le Roy, Oakfield, Pavilion and Stafford. Most were re-elected last November.
