Independent Nursing Care announced Thursday that it will offer swine flu shots, by appointment only, to anyone who falls into one of the priority groups.

A national advisory panel has recommended that the following groups receive the vaccine before others because of their higher risk of complications from flu: pregnant women, household contacts and caregivers for children younger than six months old, health care and emergency medical services personnel, anyone six months through 24 years of age and adults age 25 through 64 at higher risk of medical complications from influenza.

H1N1 flu shot clinics will be held at the Independent Nursing Care office, 1038 Davis Road, West Falls, on the following dates: 11 a. m. to 2 p. m. today; 3 to 6 p. m. Wednesday; 11 a. m. to 2 p. m. Thursday; 11 a. m. to 2 p. m. Dec. 14; and 3 to 6 p. m. Dec. 17.

To schedule an appointment, call 805-1020.
