DRIVER’S COURSE: A state-certified six-hour point-and insurance- reduction course will be held from 8:30 a. m. to 3 p. m. Saturday in Kenmore Mercy Hospital, 2950 Elmwood Ave., Town of Tonawanda. The course will allow each applicant to receive 10 percent off collision and liability auto insurance for three years and remove up to four points from a New York State driver’s license. DAR MEETING: The Niagara Falls Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at noon Saturday for luncheon in the Holiday Inn, 515 S. Transit Road, Lockport, to pack clothing and toiletries for homeless war veterans for Christmas delivery. A film, “USS New York,” also will be shown.
