6 face drug charges in traffic stops

State troopers patrolling the city over the weekend for Operation Impact arrested six motorists on drug charges after stopping them for traffic infractions.
Troopers also arrested a man wanted on a weapons-possession warrant in the city. And two Buffalo residents were taken to the Erie County Holding Center after troopers found 22 stolen inspection stickers from Genesee County in their car, troopers said.
Curtis J. Johnson, 26, of Buffalo, was wanted on a bench warrant from Buffalo for criminal possession of a weapon and obstructing governmental administration. He was stopped for not wearing a seat belt.
Marisol Rodriguez, 38, and Jose Bracedo, 33, both of Buffalo, were charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property when police found the stolen inspection stickers. State police stopped the two at Albany Street and Normal Avenue.
Police charged Van B. Wynder, 39, of Buffalo, with seventh- degree criminal possession of a controlled substance when they found him with a bag of crack cocaine and a crack pipe after pulling him over at Sycamore Street and Walden Avenue.
Steven J. Busch, 41, of Freedom, was charged with seventh- degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police found a crack pipe and a marijuana pipe after they stopped him for an unsafe lane change on Bailey Avenue and William Street.
Brian L. Steiner, 43, of Buffalo, stopped for not wearing a seat belt on West Avenue, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance when police found a plastic baggie containing crack cocaine and a crack pipe.
Aymen Mosley, 27, of Buffalo, pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign at West and Auburn avenues, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana when police found him with 4 ounces of marijuana in his pants.
Police arrested Richard S. Campbell, 31, of Buffalo, on a bench warrant from Lackawanna after pulling him over on Albany Street. Police found a gram of cocaine in a sock. He was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police stopped Henry B. Robins, 46, of Buffalo, for crossing over a double line on Broadway and Warren Avenue. Troopers said they saw a baggie of crack cocaine in plain view in the driver’s-side door. They also said they found seven hydrocodone tablets.
At the Holding Center, a gram of crack cocaine was found in Robins’ underwear, police said. He was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and promoting prison contraband.
