BATAVIA—More than 100 people attended an open house Sunday at the enlarged Manor House, the city’s only upscale retirement living community.

Two wings added to the original three-story 43-unit building that opened in the mid-1990s were recently completed by new owner Gordon W. Davis, who heads Manor House LLC, a development firm based in Portland, Ore.

Now a 90-unit facility in three attached buildings, it includes elegant common rooms and a full-service restaurant for tenants.

Manor House also offers a wide range of activities for residents and operates a van to take residents shopping and on tours.
